Day 4911
Day 4911 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. The orchard has produced more than anybody knows what to do with. There are apples on doorsteps, unasked for and unavoidable. An unclaimed umbrella has been standing by the café door for three days. Jonah Ferris is not currently speaking to Gil Ferris. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Shortcut takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
