Day 493
What a day it was in Seahaven Springs — Hal returned from the hospital with a clean bill of health, the mysterious garden gnome made its next appearance, and the rainbow that blessed the afternoon sky seemed to paint the whole town gold. Elaine's back gave out on her, and Dr. Pratt admitted her to Seahaven General for some proper rest, but the evening was so mild and lovely that half the town drifted outside anyway, claiming benches in the park and chairs at The Anchor, grateful for the simple gift of good weather and good company. The boundary dispute continues its diplomatic path, the ladder keeps making the rounds, and somewhere in all of it, Truman found something interesting in the tide — but that, as always, is a story for tomorrow.
