Episode
Day 4942
Day 4942 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. Fern Gorse has been released from the Sheriff's office with a stern word and a handshake. Fog has come in off the bay and stopped, very precisely, at the edge of town. For four seconds Truman Beaumont's radio carried a voice describing exactly where Truman Beaumont was standing. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. A Wager on the Weather reaches its conclusion. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
