Day 4944
Day 4944 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. Sal Marino has been discharged from Seahaven General and is right as rain. Word has gone round the kitchens: Truman Beaumont is to be given his favourite, and no bill. Marla Finch has finally had everyone round. Nobody left early. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Clock Is Two Minutes Fast runs into trouble. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
