Day 5020

Day 5020 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Dell Tanner is in a staring contest with a gull on the dock. The gull is winning. A pair of swans has taken up residence on Miller's Pond, and half the town has been down to look at them and pretend they had other business. There is one more chair at The Anchor than there was yesterday. Rex has not mentioned it. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Barrel Of Vinegar Delivery takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
