Day 5079
Day 5079 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Dot Ferris has been discharged from Seahaven General and is right as rain. Milo Ferris is not currently speaking to Bea Callahan. Bea Callahan is cooling off in the Sheriff's holding cell after the business at The Anchor. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Battle of the Noticeboard runs into trouble. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
OPEN THIS DAY IN THE BROADCASTWhat was announced
00:00Dot Ferris has been discharged from Seahaven General and is right as rain.
00:00The swans have moved on, having accepted a great deal of bread and given nothing back.
10:00The tide is out further than usual. Abel Callahan has gone to look at what it left behind.
12:00Somebody has repainted their front door overnight. Opinions are being gathered.
12:21Two notices have appeared on the same board, on the same subject, disagreeing.
13:00Clouds drift in over the bay. The fishermen pretend not to enjoy it.
16:00The town cat is asleep on the Town Hall steps. Municipal business reroutes around it.
18:00The light over Seahaven Springs this evening is almost unreasonably good.
19:43Ned Ferris and Cass Tanner kept their word and finished what they started.
20:00The lights of Seahaven Springs flickered for exactly three seconds. The town clock is unbothered.
21:00Rain has begun over Seahaven Springs. Umbrellas deployed with suspicious synchronization.
22:00The rain has cleared. A rainbow appeared at a frankly cinematic angle.
22:14Perry Gorse is negotiating with a bar stool and appears to be losing.
22:19The Anchor's piano is being played by Milo Ferris, who cannot play piano.
22:21Jonah Ferris has reached the storytelling stage at The Anchor.
22:21Bea Callahan has explained the tides three times, differently each time.
22:24Cass Tanner offered to buy the room a drink, then checked a pocket.
23:00It is warm enough to sit outside. Half the town has done exactly that.
23:00Commotion at The Anchor! Milo Ferris and Bea Callahan came to (very gentle) blows over an argument about the correct way to pronounce "buoy".
23:00Sheriff Brody has invited Bea Callahan to spend the night in the cells. Everyone agrees this is for the best.
