Day 5097
Day 5097 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. keeping a notebook about the pond has stopped being something Fern Gorse is trying, and become something they do. The Town Hall clock and the bakery clock disagree by two minutes. Both are certain. Nell Tidewater was born to Mabel Tidewater and Dell Tanner. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Harbour Blue Question takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
