Day 5105
Day 5105 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Cole Whitlow has been discharged from Seahaven General and is right as rain. Jonah Ferris is not currently speaking to Opal Ferris. Ned Ferris is in Seahaven General after they caught a foot in the netting down at the dock. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Sea Glass Season runs into trouble. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
OPEN THIS DAY IN THE BROADCASTWhat was announced
00:00Cole Whitlow has been discharged from Seahaven General and is right as rain.
03:00The rain has cleared. A rainbow appeared at a frankly cinematic angle.
04:00Clouds drift in over the bay. The fishermen pretend not to enjoy it.
08:00Fog has come in off the bay and stopped, very precisely, at the edge of town.
09:07Ned Ferris's small gathering has come together, with just enough chairs and no speeches.
10:00She answered the question Truman Beaumont had not asked yet. He noticed. Control noticed him noticing.
11:00The tide is out further than usual. Iris Brody has gone to look at what it left behind.
11:00The radio in Truman Beaumont's kitchen has been persuaded to play his favourite song. He is singing along, badly.
11:59The tide has brought up sea glass along the whole beach and the town has noticed.
12:00Rain has begun over Seahaven Springs. Umbrellas deployed with suspicious synchronization.
14:00A seagull has stolen Bram Tidewater's sandwich near the dock. Again.
14:31Flo Ferris and Bram Tidewater have got into the habit of each other.
15:00The rain has cleared. A rainbow appeared at a frankly cinematic angle.
15:00Ned Ferris caught a foot in the netting down at the dock and is spending a few days in Seahaven General.
17:00Cole Whitlow has arrived at the store without the list. This has happened before.
18:00Clouds drift in over the bay. The fishermen pretend not to enjoy it.
19:00The sun breaks through over Seahaven Springs, precisely on cue.
20:00It is warm enough to sit outside. Half the town has done exactly that.
21:55Edie Gorse has declared this the finest town in the world. Twice.
21:58Bram Tidewater is negotiating with a bar stool and appears to be losing.
21:59Cole Whitlow has become extremely confident about lighthouse engineering.
22:00The lights of Seahaven Springs flickered for exactly three seconds. The town clock is unbothered.
22:00Bev Tanner called Truman Beaumont by the wrong name mid-sentence, then laughed a little too quickly.
22:03Cass Tanner has proposed a toast to the concept of Thursdays.
22:15Perry Gorse has ordered one for the road and then forgotten which road.
22:24Lark Ferris has proposed a toast to the concept of Thursdays.
23:00Commotion at The Anchor! Cass Tanner and Perry Gorse came to (very gentle) blows over a disagreement over who really caught the biggest fish.
