Day 5124
Day 5124 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. Fog has come in off the bay and stopped, very precisely, at the edge of town. Alma Callahan has finally had everyone round. Nobody left early. Nell Tidewater was born to Mabel Tidewater and Dell Tanner. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Sea Glass Season runs into trouble. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
