Day 5226
Day 5226 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. A pair of swans has taken up residence on Miller's Pond, and half the town has been down to look at them and pretend they had other business. The Town Hall clock and the bakery clock disagree by two minutes. Both are certain. Posy Gorse was born to Edie Gorse and Ewan Callahan. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
