Day 5270
Day 5270 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. Truman Beaumont and Elaine Whitlow discover they are both entering the pie-baking contest. The traveling garden gnome has been spotted on a new porch. Nobody admits to moving it. Hal Brody is not currently speaking to Bea Callahan. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Great Pie-Baking Rivalry takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
