Day 5289
Day 5289 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Dell Tanner has been discharged from Seahaven General and is right as rain. A heron has taken up position at Miller's Pond and is refusing to be hurried. Fog has come in off the bay and stopped, very precisely, at the edge of town. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Anonymous Good Deed reaches its conclusion. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
