Day 5302
Day 5302 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. Nell Tidewater is in a staring contest with a gull on the dock. The gull is winning. The puddle outside the Sunrise Café has returned to its usual dimensions. Dot Ferris has stopped wondering about it, which is not quite the same as knowing. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. A Visitor Is Expected reaches its conclusion. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
