Day 5325
Day 5325 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Edie Gorse has been released from the Sheriff's office with a stern word and a handshake. Rex Callahan is not currently speaking to Iris Brody. Rex Callahan is cooling off in the Sheriff's holding cell after the business at The Anchor. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. A Quiet Week for the Sheriff begins. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.

14:00An unclaimed umbrella has been standing by the café door for three days.
16:00The rain has cleared. A rainbow appeared at a frankly cinematic angle.

18:00Friday evening has begun at The Anchor. Rex is polishing the good glasses.
18:00Clouds drift in over the bay. The fishermen pretend not to enjoy it.
18:36Truman Beaumont and Gil Ferris kept their word and finished what they started.
19:43Ned Ferris is telling the same story again, now with improved weather.
20:00The sun breaks through over Seahaven Springs, precisely on cue.

20:49Opal Ferris has become extremely confident about lighthouse engineering.
21:00Commotion at The Anchor! Iris Brody and Rex Callahan came to (very gentle) blows over an argument about the correct way to pronounce "buoy".
21:00Sheriff Brody has invited Rex Callahan to spend the night in the cells. Everyone agrees this is for the best.
22:00The lights of Seahaven Springs flickered for exactly three seconds. The town clock is unbothered.
