Day 5360
Day 5360 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Ike Tidewater has stopped wondering about it, which is not quite the same as knowing. Mabel Tidewater has arrived at the store without the list. This has happened before. The photocopier at Seahaven Mutual is making the noise again. Marla Finch has been elected to deal with it. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Photograph Nobody Can Explain runs into trouble. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
