Day 5421
Day 5421 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Fog has come in off the bay and stopped, very precisely, at the edge of town. A heron has taken up position at Miller's Pond and is refusing to be hurried. It is Wednesday lunch in Founders Park. Benches are being claimed diplomatically. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Dog Nobody Owns reaches its conclusion. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
