Episode
Day 5429
Day 5429 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. Truman Beaumont and Elaine Whitlow discover they are both entering the chess contest. Linus Tidewater has stopped wondering about it, which is not quite the same as knowing. Abel Callahan is in a staring contest with a gull on the dock. The gull is winning. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Great Chess Rivalry takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
