Day 5433
Day 5433 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. Nell Tidewater and Mabel Tidewater have stopped leaving their friendship to chance. The queue at the bakery has reached the door. Nobody minds; it is that kind of queue. Fern Gorse has been seen walking out with Jonah Ferris. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. A Visitor Is Expected takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
