Day 5506
Day 5506 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. Elaine Whitlow has been discharged from Seahaven General and is right as rain. The lights of Seahaven Springs flickered for exactly three seconds. The town clock is unbothered. Silas Tidewater is in a staring contest with a gull on the dock. The gull is winning. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. A Quiet Week for the Sheriff reaches its conclusion. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
