Day 5583
Day 5583 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. Bram Tidewater has been discharged from Seahaven General and is right as rain. Lark Ferris is not currently speaking to Ike Tidewater. Lark Ferris is cooling off in the Sheriff's holding cell after the business at The Anchor. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
OPEN THIS DAY IN THE BROADCASTWhat was announced
00:00Bram Tidewater has been discharged from Seahaven General and is right as rain.
06:00The rain has cleared. A rainbow appeared at a frankly cinematic angle.
09:11There were not enough plates at Milo Ferris's, and nobody minded.
11:00Alma Callahan has received a postcard from somewhere far away. The handwriting is unfamiliar.
11:10The Sheriff declares the town safe and returns to the crossword.
11:10Abel Callahan and Lark Ferris kept their word and finished what they started.
11:10And so concludes: A Quiet Week for the Sheriff. The town will live with how it ended.
12:56Bev Tanner and Milo Ferris no longer need a reason to call round.
13:00The orchard is loud with bees. Nobody has been stung in living memory.
13:51Jonah Ferris has kept at learning the orchard properly long enough that the town expects it now.
14:00Rain has begun over Seahaven Springs. Umbrellas deployed with suspicious synchronization.
14:28Gil Ferris and Linus Tidewater kept their word and finished what they started.
15:00The rain has cleared. A rainbow appeared at a frankly cinematic angle.
17:00A hedge has been trimmed one inch past a boundary. Diplomacy is under way.
18:00Clouds drift in over the bay. The fishermen pretend not to enjoy it.
19:00The tide is out further than usual. Truman Beaumont has gone to look at what it left behind.
20:00There is one more chair at The Anchor than there was yesterday. Rex has not mentioned it.
21:00It is warm enough to sit outside. Half the town has done exactly that.
22:02Bea Callahan is describing a fish that grows between each telling.
22:07Wren Gorse has sworn undying friendship to somebody met twenty minutes ago.
22:10The Anchor's piano is being played by Silas Tidewater, who cannot play piano.
22:15Lark Ferris is telling the same story again, now with improved weather.
22:17Perry Gorse has become extremely confident about lighthouse engineering.
23:00Commotion at The Anchor! Lark Ferris and Ike Tidewater came to (very gentle) blows over a disputed game of dominoes.
23:00Sheriff Brody has invited Lark Ferris to spend the night in the cells. Everyone agrees this is for the best.
