Day 5603
Day 5603 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. The radio in Truman Beaumont's kitchen has been persuaded to play his favourite song. He is singing along, badly. The community orchard is in blossom and briefly the best place in town. It is Wednesday lunch in Founders Park. Benches are being claimed diplomatically. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. A Quiet Week for the Sheriff reaches its conclusion. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
