Day 5636
Day 5636 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. Whatever Elaine Whitlow and Marla Finch were circling, they have landed on it. Fog has come in off the bay and stopped, very precisely, at the edge of town. Perry Gorse and Truman Beaumont have got into the habit of each other. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. What Our Song Actually Is takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
