Day 5638
Day 5638 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. Kip Doyle and Dot Ferris have quietly become the sort of friends who notice things. Somebody has repainted their front door overnight. Opinions are being gathered. Hal Brody has sworn undying friendship to somebody met twenty minutes ago. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
