Day 5642
Day 5642 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. Perry Gorse has been released from the Sheriff's office with a stern word and a handshake. The radio in Truman Beaumont's kitchen has been persuaded to play his favourite song. He is singing along, badly. An unclaimed umbrella has been standing by the café door for three days. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Shortcut reaches its conclusion. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
