Day 5712
Day 5712 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. The orchard has produced more than anybody knows what to do with. There are apples on doorsteps, unasked for and unavoidable. The tide is out further than usual. someone has gone to look at what it left behind. Wren Gorse is not brilliant at keeping a notebook about the pond, and is no longer pretending to be. It stuck anyway. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Plum Harvest takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
