Day 5725
Day 5725 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. The queue at the bakery has reached the door. Nobody minds; it is that kind of queue. Saturday orchard morning is under way. Opinions about ladders are plentiful. Hattie Whitlow is not currently speaking to Ned Ferris. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Loaf That Cannot Be Repeated takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
