Day 5758
Day 5758 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. Wren Gorse and Edie Gorse have quietly become the sort of friends who notice things. The morning mail has arrived. Dell Tanner received a mysterious postcard. The rain has driven everyone indoors, and the café is doing the best trade of the week. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. A Visitor Is Expected begins. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
