Day 5811
Day 5811 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. The lights of Seahaven Springs flickered for exactly three seconds. The town clock is unbothered. Fog has come in off the bay and stopped, very precisely, at the edge of town. The queue at the bakery has reached the door. Nobody minds; it is that kind of queue. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Battle of the Noticeboard reaches its conclusion. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
