Day 5826
Day 5826 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. The town clock is going again. It is four minutes fast, and the town has decided to live with that. Opal Ferris has kept at practising stories worth telling long enough that the town expects it now. The same passer-by has now walked past Truman Beaumont three times on the same route. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Lemon Tart Question takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
