Day 5837
Day 5837 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Flo Ferris has been released from the Sheriff's office with a stern word and a handshake. Hal Brody is not currently speaking to Rex Callahan. Rex Callahan is cooling off in the Sheriff's holding cell after the business at The Anchor. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.

00:00Flo Ferris has been released from the Sheriff's office with a stern word and a handshake.
00:00Word has gone round the kitchens: Truman Beaumont is to be given his favourite, and no bill.
03:00The rain has cleared. A rainbow appeared at a frankly cinematic angle.
07:00Fog has come in off the bay and stopped, very precisely, at the edge of town.
07:51Marla Finch has got to the bottom of it. The bottom was not far down.
09:21Linus Tidewater has hosted the thing they kept meaning to host.
10:00Saturday orchard morning is under way. Opinions about ladders are plentiful.
10:34The best pieces end up in a jar on a windowsill, where they were always going.
10:34Gil Ferris and Edie Gorse kept their word and finished what they started.
10:34And so concludes: The Sea Glass Season. The town will live with how it ended.
10:50Bev Tanner and Milo Ferris have got into the habit of each other.
11:00Nell Tidewater discovered the loose paving slab outside the shop and is spending a few days in Seahaven General.
11:17Hattie Whitlow has finally had everyone round. Nobody left early.
12:00The sun breaks through over Seahaven Springs, precisely on cue.
13:00The town cat is asleep on the Town Hall steps. Municipal business reroutes around it.
14:00The community orchard is in blossom and briefly the best place in town.
15:00Lark Ferris has arrived at the store without the list. This has happened before.
16:00The town ladder is on its fourth borrower this week and nobody is sure who owns it.
17:00Clouds drift in over the bay. The fishermen pretend not to enjoy it.
19:00Faint harmonica music was heard from the dock. Everybody denies everything.
19:30Hattie Whitlow and Gil Ferris kept their word and finished what they started.
21:00The sun breaks through over Seahaven Springs, precisely on cue.
21:17Hal Brody has decided the dartboard is at fault and said so publicly.
22:00It is warm enough to sit outside. Half the town has done exactly that.
22:06Somebody behind the bar has quietly moved Abel Callahan onto the water. Abel Callahan has not noticed.
22:38Opal Ferris has proposed a toast to the concept of Thursdays.
23:00Commotion at The Anchor! Hal Brody and Rex Callahan came to (very gentle) blows over a disagreement over who really caught the biggest fish.
23:00Sheriff Brody has invited Rex Callahan to spend the night in the cells. Everyone agrees this is for the best.
