Day 5839
Day 5839 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. Rex Callahan has been released from the Sheriff's office with a stern word and a handshake. Nell Tidewater has been discharged from Seahaven General and is right as rain. Dot Ferris is not brilliant at keeping a notebook about the pond, and is no longer pretending to be. It stuck anyway. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Quince Harvest takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
