Day 5863

Day 5863 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Fog has come in off the bay and stopped, very precisely, at the edge of town. Hattie Whitlow has declared this the finest town in the world. Twice. Hal Brody has arrived at the store without the list. This has happened before. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
