Day 5895
Day 5895 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. Edie Gorse is in a staring contest with a gull on the dock. The gull is winning. Bea Callahan and Linus Tidewater no longer need a reason to call round. The lights of Seahaven Springs flickered for exactly three seconds. The town clock is unbothered. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
