Day 5909
Day 5909 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. Fog has come in off the bay and stopped, very precisely, at the edge of town. The tide is out further than usual. Marla Finch has gone to look at what it left behind. Whatever Posy Gorse and Edie Gorse were circling, they have landed on it. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
