Day 5936
Day 5936 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. Rex Callahan has been discharged from Seahaven General and is right as rain. Fog has come in off the bay and stopped, very precisely, at the edge of town. An unclaimed umbrella has been standing by the café door for three days. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. A Quiet Week for the Sheriff reaches its conclusion. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
