Day 5960
Day 5960 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. Edie Gorse has been released from the Sheriff's office with a stern word and a handshake. The radio in Truman Beaumont's kitchen has been persuaded to play his favourite song. He is singing along, badly. The Town Hall clock and the bakery clock disagree by two minutes. Both are certain. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
