Day 789
What a day in Seahaven Springs! The weather performed its usual dramatic dance—rain, sunshine, a rainbow so perfectly positioned it seemed almost orchestrated—while down at Miller's Pond, a heron settled in with the stubbornness of a town resident who'd already made up their mind. Sal made his usual pilgrimage to inspect the tide's offerings, Truman and Abel kept their promises like good men do, and by evening The Anchor was in full swing: Rex polishing glasses like they owed him money, Bev at the piano producing sounds that were technically notes, and Norma holding court with stories that grow more interesting with each telling. Meanwhile, our town's clocks couldn't agree on the time, a mysterious postcard arrived from parts unknown, and somewhere a heron refused to budge. Just another perfect Friday in our little corner of the world.
