Somewhere a kite hung in a tree waiting for a committee, the town ladder passed to its fourth borrower of the week, and bees hummed loudly in the orchard while nobody got stung. In Seahaven Springs, the small mysteries close themselves, the rain comes and goes on schedule, and on a Friday night, the best place to be is exactly where everyone already was.
