Day 1091
In Seahaven Springs, a day of clouds and rain and sudden rainbows drew the town together in the sweetest way — and Truman found himself deep in conversation with Elaine about far-off places again, while Marla quietly carried supper to her door at dusk, as neighbors do. Somewhere in the evening, someone's piano practice drifted through the streets in those same familiar eight bars, and down at The Anchor, boats and chairs received their due attention and gratitude. By day's end, the sun broke through precisely as it always does, and Seahaven Springs settled into sleep knowing that Cole Whitlow holds a postcard from somewhere, written in a hand nobody quite recognizes yet.
