Day 1212

What a day in Seahaven Springs! The rain came and went as dramatically as it pleased, driving the whole town into the Sunrise Café where Marla could barely keep up with the orders, and later to The Anchor where Rex held court about boats and Sal taught an endless song that nobody quite understood. Meanwhile, little Opal Ferris arrived safe and sound to Dot and Kip, and Bea Callahan remains under observation at Seahaven General with a rash that has the whole town speculating in whispers. Tomorrow the town dog becomes everyone's dog, a kite waits in the park tree for a committee to rescue it, and the mystery of Rex's new chair at The Anchor remains delightfully unspoken—but tonight, Seahaven Springs glowed under a rainbow that seemed almost too perfect to be real.
