Day 130 brought the gentle chaos Seahaven Springs does best: Marla's scuffle with a garden gnome has earned her a stay at Seahaven General, where Dot and Dr. Pratt fuss over her between stolen glances at each other; meanwhile, umbrellas bloomed across the town like flowers as rain rolled in, and somewhere in the square, an unclaimed umbrella by the café still waits for its owner. Truman rehearses something in secret—Hal caught the sound through a wall and wisely said nothing—while the traveling garden gnome continues its mysterious migration from porch to porch, and clocks in this town stubbornly refuse to agree. Nothing bad happened, as always, but everything odd somehow managed to happen at once.
