What a day in Seahaven Springs! A mysterious rain blessed only Truman as he walked through town, and word spread through kitchens that he'd be dining free tonight—a secret the whole town kept beautifully. The bakery's aroma alone toppled afternoon productivity, while down at Miller's Pond, a stubborn heron and an even more stubborn Pearl Gorse had themselves quite the standoff. As evening fell and half the town settled into the warm night air, there was that peculiar quality to the light, the kind that makes you believe everything is exactly as it should be—which, of course, it is.
