Day 147
Day 147 dawned quiet in Seahaven Springs — too quiet, some might say — but the town made the most of it: the orchard burst into blossom, the Sheriff polished his boots, and a small commotion somewhere across town drew our dear Truman into an adventure (the seagulls, ever ambitious, got his sandwich again). As evening fell and clouds gathered over the bay like old friends returning home, the whole town drifted toward The Salty Gull for Sunday supper, drawn together not by drama but by the simple warmth of sitting at the same table week after week. Even Rex's losing streak against the gulls couldn't dampen the evening — for in Seahaven Springs, sometimes the finest days are the ones where nothing much happens at all, except everything.
