What a day Seahaven Springs has given us: rainbows painting themselves across the sky, the orchard in its finest bloom, and Truman Beaumont stubbornly refusing to yield a single dandelion to Elaine in their weeding contest—a promise kept despite the weather's every objection. A kite tangled itself in the park tree, a hedge crossed a boundary by one rebellious inch, and somewhere in it all, little Wilf Tanner arrived into the world, making Bev a mother and Milo a father. As evening light fell just so over our little town, even Bea Callahan's head cold couldn't quite dampen the warmth of a day where everyone seemed to remember, all at once, why they'd chosen to stay.
