Bev took quite the tumble off a stepladder rescuing a kite — she's resting comfortably at Seahaven General now, and the town's already making sure she knows she's missed — while the rain cleared just in time for the most cinematic rainbow the sky could muster. Down at the bakery, the queue stretched out the door and nobody minded one bit; at The Anchor, the piano was making some decidedly creative sounds under Fern's enthusiastic hands; and somehow, through it all, Truman was crooning along to his favorite song in his kitchen, blissfully unaware that for just four seconds, the whole town heard exactly where he was standing. In Seahaven Springs, even the ordinary days shimmer with gentle mystery.
