Day 1989
What a day Seahaven Springs has had! The rain came and went twice over, painting rainbows across our little town with almost suspicious timing, while Truman collected his daily postcard and went about his earnest business, blissfully unaware of the strange synchronicity blooming around him. Down at the shore, Opal Ferris finally named what she and Cole Whitlow had been dancing around for weeks, and over at Town Hall, someone actually filed a form correctly on the first try—a small miracle that sent quiet ripples of joy through the administrative offices. As evening fell with that unreasonably golden light only Seahaven Springs seems to manage, The Anchor filled with its usual cast of philosophers, storytellers, and gentle souls finding reasons to celebrate Thursdays and thank the furniture, while the news of young Ned Ferris's arrival continued to warm hearts across town.
