Day 1993

What a day in Seahaven Springs! The Anchor saw more excitement than usual—first Wilf and Marla over dominoes, then Bea and Wilf over a pickled egg, then Bea and Bev over the very same egg—with Sheriff Hal gently insisting Marla spend the evening in the cells to cool off, which somehow nobody minded. Meanwhile, poor Dot caught her foot in the dock netting and is resting up at Seahaven General, though she'll be back to running the ward before anyone knows it. Through it all, Truman practiced his baking notes in the garden with Elaine, Rue kept the dial honest, and someone played a mysterious harmonica by the water—Seahaven Springs remains wonderfully, warmly tangled up in itself.
