What a day in Seahaven Springs! The rain came and went twice over, painting a rainbow so perfect it looked airbrushed, while down at the tide line Milo Ferris went searching for treasures the sea had left behind. Up in Founders Park, Truman and Elaine worked side by side to save Wednesday lunch from the wet, and somewhere a kite caught itself in the old oak tree—which naturally called for a committee. But the evening took a turn at The Anchor when Fern Gorse and Bea Callahan found themselves at odds over the last pickled egg, a disagreement heated enough that Sheriff Brody invited Fern to spend a quiet night in the holding cells, which everyone agreed was probably for the best. Meanwhile, the community orchard burst into blossom, and somewhere in town, Ned Ferris was still the newest and most-welcomed member of Seahaven Springs.
