What a day in Seahaven Springs—the rain came and went, leaving behind a rainbow so perfectly placed it seemed almost staged, while fog rolled in from the bay as if it knew exactly where to stop. Bev's caught the sniffles and found herself under Dr. Pratt's careful watch at Seahaven General, but the real magic was in the small moments: Kip's bakery drew a queue that wrapped out the door (nobody minded), Rex finally brought home that painting he'd been saving for, and somewhere between the puddles and the seagulls stealing Pearl's sandwich, someone in this town has been leaving gifts. The mystery deepens, but in Seahaven Springs, mysteries are almost always the warmest kind.
