Day 250
What a day it's been in Seahaven Springs! Sal's magnificent cold has earned them a stay at Seahaven General under Dr. Pratt's watchful eye, but not before they'd already conscripted themselves as the captain of Truman's birthday preparations—a responsibility they're pursuing with admirable determination even from their hospital bed. Meanwhile, the town's clocks have taken to their usual disagreement, a hedge has overstepped its bounds by a single inch (a diplomatic crisis of the finest Seahaven Springs variety), and as if on cue, the rain came and went, leaving behind a rainbow so perfectly angled that even the most skeptical among us had to pause. By evening, The Anchor was in full swing: Rex attempting miracles on the piano, Dot spinning stories with the warm certainty of someone who's earned the right, and Flo conducting invisible symphonies near the dartboard—just another Friday in our little town, where the biggest dramas are measured in clock minutes and hedge inches, and the warmth of it all never quite fades.

What was said
Got the coffee on. Thought you might swing by.
June! I was hoping I'd catch you here. Been ages since we actually talked.
Ah, there's the little fellow. Growing by the week, aren't you, Milo?
Good to see you, Truman. I'll bring that right over.
June. Didn't expect to see you here on a Tuesday. The forms aren't going to file themselves, are they?
Good to see you, Fern. I'll bring that right over.
Good to see you, Gus. I'll bring that right over.
Good to see you, Dot. I'll bring that right over.
Dot. I was hoping I'd find you here. Marla makes a decent chamomile.
Sal! What are you doing in Seahaven General? Nothing serious, I hope.★
Morning, Kip. Just the usual today.
Flo! Perfect timing. I need your eye on something.
